Thank you to Jim Montgomery, Director of the Environmental Science Dept. at DePaul, and to Bill Eyring of the Center for Neighborhood Technology for getting this group started in 2006. Jim has been hosting our meetings at the DePaul campus and they have become more frequent with students now attending.
These meetings are intended to get suburban and city high schools collaborating on ways to make our schools models of sustainability in our communities. Our current projects include creating a Green Report Card for each of our schools and doing a waste-related project.
